A MASK FROM APPLE ??!!!

 APPLE'S ALL NEW FACEMASK

Apple has come up qwith its all new facemask, in memoriam of the COVID-19 outbreak and the lockdown situation all around the globe.

The video posted by popular YouTuber Lewis Hilsenteger revealed a white mask that comes in a three-piece design and allows it to extend over the nose and a little under the chin. 

The pack comes with five sealed reusable masks. The Youtuber explains that these masks can be used for a certain number of times, after which it can be discarded. The Apple face mask needs to be washed every eight hours, and each mask can be used up to five times (up to eight hours in each usage). It also comes with adjustable strings for a better fit. 

Its other mask called a 'ClearMask' claims to be the first FDA-cleared surgical mask that is completely transparent. It is aimed at providing more ease for people with hearing impairments to visually communicate. 

The tech giant has collaborated with Washington-based Gallaudet University to develop this ClearMask.

The company conducted careful research and testing to find the right materials to filter the air properly while not disrupting the supply of medical personal protective equipment.

Apple Inc. developed these masks to distribute to corporate and retail employees to limit the spread of COVID-19. 

As of now, it is unclear if Apple plans on selling the Apple face mask or the ClearMask to the general public.

Subjectively speaking, a fact that still remains unclear is why did Apple Inc. take such an initiative? 

Some assumptions that can be made are :

• To improve Apple's brand value
• CSR activity in accordance to the COVID-19 situation.
• Effort to build a more better image.
•  Create awareness among People about the seriousness of nthe lockdown.

Although Apple has left the assumptions and perspectives of its facemask to its consumers and critics. So it is majorly dependent on us, how me make the product look like ?
